2nd Saturday Art Walk & Dinner - Sacramento

Please join us for dinner and a walking tour of several art galleries (one of which is likely to have wine tasting as well).

Here are the SPECIFICS for this event:

WHEN	Saturday, May 10, 2008 6:00pm - dinner 7:00pm - Art Walk
WHERE	Dinner at Crepeville, 1730 L. Street, Sacramento; (Ph: 916.444-1100). We will begin the Art Walk from there as well. The art galleries are within a few blocks. For information and a map, check out the Second Saturday web page at: http://www.sacramento-second-saturday.org.
PARKING	There is free parking on the surrounding streets and some parking lots.
COST	Dinner will cost - depending on what one orders - about $7-12. The art galleries are free (and they often provide wine, cheese, crackers, veggies, etc.).
DRUGS AND ALCOHOL	All CMG events are drug free. This is an alcohol optional event . Wine may be served at some of the galleries.

	About the Sacramento Second Saturday Art Walk: On the second Saturday of each month, Sacramento art galleries stay open for a Sacramento Art Walk late into the evening. This provides a chance for people to walk from gallery to gallery, meet the artists, people watch, enjoy time with friends and maybe buy a piece of art or two. Galleries all over Sacramento participate, but they are clustered into two main areas: Midtown Sacramento and Del Paso Boulevard. We will be visiting the Midtown district, which supports a thriving and innovative arts community with interesting boutiques, restaurants and now five gay bars.
