Yoga By the Sea

Total beginner? Intermediate level student? Full-on levitating master? It’s all good! Slather on some sunscreen, grab your mat and some water, and come join men of all ages, body types and levels as Chris Colas lovingly leads us through poses and awareness right by the beautiful blue Pacific.

Afterward, join us for lunch at a nearby restaurant within walking distance!

Sponsored by the CMG Events Committee in Los Angeles (ECLA) all men are welcome [**] and please feel free to bring along a friend you would like to introduce to the CMG.

Here are the SPECIFICS OF THIS EVENT:

FACILITATOR	Chris Colas has been practicing yoga and helping men meet their bodies and inner selves for many years.
WHEN	Sunday, June 1, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Afterward, those who can stay will walk to a nearby restaurant for lunch. (You can help us decide where!)
WHERE	Meet at the small park (Valparaiso Plaza ) at the corner of Junipero and Ocean Blvd. Just one block west of the Long Beach Museum of Art (2300 East Ocean Boulevard, Long Beach, CA 90803) For a map, click here.
WHAT TO BRING	Yoga mat, towel, water, and sunscreen!
PARKING	There is adequate street parking, especially at that time in the morning.

DONATION REQUESTED	We ask for a $5.00 donation. No one will be turned away for lack of funds
DRUGS AND ALCOHOL	All CMG events are drug free. This event is also alcohol free.
[**]	If you have never been to one of our social events, this is a great way to find out about the California Men's Gatherings and the many wonderful men who attend our three annual Gatherings and our monthly social events in Los Angeles. The men who attend our Gatherings and social events are a diverse group of men of varying ages, beliefs, religious traditions, and spiritual practices. We have differently-abled men and men from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. While CMG attendees are predominately gay and bisexual, all men 18 years or older are welcome, including those who are transgender or straight.
