This short morning
program (followed by a potluck lunch) offers instruction on the basics of
meditation and some specific Zen techniques for sitting and walking
practices. The class will help us cultivate a sense of inner calm, balance
and peace using specific postures of the body, breath, and mind. There will
be ample opportunity for practice sessions as well as questions and answers.

If you
have never been to a CMG event, this is a great way to find out about the
California Men's Gathering and the many wonderful men who attend our three
annual Gatherings and our social events throughout the year in Los Angeles .
The men
who attend our Gatherings and social events are a diverse group of men of
varying ages, beliefs, religious traditions, and spiritual
practices. We have differently-abled men and men from all
cultural and ethnic backgrounds. While CMG attendees are
predominately gay and bisexual, all men 18 years or older are
welcome, including those who are transgender or straight.
