Let’s have a picnic in the park!

Come meet us in Bixby Park in Long Beach for a day of fun, music, games, and lots of food to share. Meet old friends, bring your own friends, or come alone and make new friends!

What better way to celebrate summer than with a relaxing picnic and day in the park?

(Plus, rumor has it that there just might be a piñata involved! So come and get your hands on one of our big sticks!)

Here are the SPECIFICS OF THIS EVENT:

WHEN	Saturday, July 19th, 2008, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Potluck starts around 4:00 p.m.
WHERE	Bixby Park in Long Beach 130 Cherry Ave Long Beach, CA 90802 MAP LINK ONCE THERE, LOOK FOR THE CMG FLAG!
WHAT TO BRING	Please bring enough to feed yourself and 3-4 others (and any serving utensils) according to the first letter of your last name A thru G: please bring a warm side dish (veggie, pasta, etc.) H thru M: please bring a salad N thru R: please bring a dessert S thru Z: please bring a main dish Picnic supplies, beverages, ice, plates, etc. will be provided (see below).
COST	We ask for a $5.00 Suggested Donation to cover picnic supplies, beverages, ice, plates, etc.
RSVP	Please RSVP by sending an email to zzsms@yahoo.com and put RSVP Picnic as the subject [or click here.] This RSVP is only to get an idea of how many supplies we will need to provide. It will also be used to send you contact info in case you get lost in the park.
PARKING	Parking is available in and around Bixby Park.
DRUGS AND ALCOHOL	All CMG events are drug free. This event is also alcohol free. NOTE: It is illegal to have alcohol in the park.
[**]	If you have never been to one of our social events, this is a great way to find out about the California Men's Gatherings and the many wonderful men who attend our three annual Gatherings and our monthly social events in Los Angeles. The men who attend our Gatherings and social events are a diverse group of men of varying ages, beliefs, religious traditions, and spiritual practices. We have differently-abled men and men from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. While CMG attendees are predominately gay and bisexual, all men 18 years or older are welcome, including those who are transgender or straight.
