The LA Local Events Committee is excited to announce a new initiative called CMG CARES.
This program will assist any and all CMG-ers who need some help, and give the opportunity to those who want to be of service a way to give back to both fellow CMG-ers and their greater community.
The first CMG CARES program is PHONE BUDDIES.
Are you new in town (or new to CMG), unable to get to events as often as you'd like, recovering from an illness or
you'd just like to hear a friendly voice on the phone now and then? Then sign up to be a "callee" or "caller" with PHONE BUDDIES. Callers offer a friendly voice, an open ear and understanding to all callees. All men interested in being a part of this program -- as a caller
or callee -- please contact David Strand at
davidstrand57@yahoo.com. He will match up CMG PHONE BUDDIES...and thanks in advance!
In 2010, we will be announcing several more CMG CARES programs, including a network of CMG Disaster Relief Homes, an LA Member Directory to share our gifts with others, and several LA scholarship programs. Click
